MOC is an extensive process that involves completing accredited education and specialty training as well as periodic oral and written exams to demonstrate competency. Originally from Southern California, Dr. Ghaderi moved to the Midwest in 1990, where he attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He then moved to Chicago in 1995 to complete his surgical training at Loyola University Chicago. Luckily for him, Chicago is known for their diversity of great tasting food from deep dish pizza to delectable sushi, one of Dr. Ghaderi's favorites. Being that he is a dessert fanatic, there is only one thing he misses about the wonderful sunshine state; a chocolate soufflé from a local restaurant on the beach. Dr. Ghaderi takes pride in every surgery he completes day to day. He is passionate about his work, and looks forward in helping his patients change their lives for the better. With his attention to detail, Dr. Ghaderi’s gratification from his work comes when an extremely happy patient has achieved their desired goal. He also enjoys spending his free time with his beloved family, which includes his wife, two daughters and his son. Whether it is watching his children’s sporting events or working long hours in the operating room, Dr. Ghaderi always enjoys every aspect of his day.

Apart from Dr. Ghaderi's schedule with surgeries and family, he finds time to give back to the patients that make St. Charles Plastic Surgery unique. Not only does Dr. Ghaderi deal with cosmetic surgeries, but he also performs reconstructive breast surgery after mastectomy for patients that have been faced with breast cancer. Dr. Ghaderi participates in two different organizations that provide awareness and support for cancer patients. One of the charities, Y-Me, promotes significant support within the breast cancer community 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. With Y-Me, no one will face breast cancer alone. Dr. Ghaderi and his team participate in the annual "Y-ME Race at Your Pace" gathering where survivors, supporters, family and friends celebrate life, have fun and remember their time dealing with cancer. Every year St. Charles Plastic Surgery participates in raising awareness and funds for this great organization. Another charity Dr. Ghaderi contributes to is the Living Well Cancer Resource Center in Geneva, Illinois. Dr. Ghaderi donates to this organization to support any kind of cancer diagnosis providing comfort, information and optimism for the patient. Dr. Ghaderi has lectured at the Living Well Cancer Resource Center to inform and assist patients with their questions regarding reconstructive surgery.
